Absolutely outstanding experience, from start to finish. Quick and courteous buying process (arrived less than a week later). Easy set-up (assuming you have an electrician, which you should for the hot tub portion). Incredibly useful - my husband and I use it every night. I chill in the hot tub and he alternates between the plunge and hot tub. When you take into account how much each of these units would cost separately, getting a more stylish and more functional product from Aquavoss at this price point is a decision I'd maker over and over (and over!) again.

I like to cold plunge and my wife likes to hot tub (she is not into cold plunging). We chose this option because it gave us the option to do these things together. We've been using it on an almost nightly basis since it's been up and running and it's been a life-changing addition to our routine.

I don't know how they did this...it's the same overall footprint as other hot tub / cold plunge options out there but it fits double the people? I’m 6’3 and this hot tub will fit four people comfortably and two people in the cold plunge side (although we probably won't ever have two people on the cold plunge side). It has tons of jets, changing light colors. It can go up to 104 on the hot tub and down to 39 on the cold plunge. It’s just been an absolute game changer for our routine. It's also completely understated how much of a win this is from a cost standpoint. The cheapest cold plunges out there are $3-6K (and up to $10k) and hot tubs go as high as $15k...this was a no-brainer and its super sleek and modern as well.

We’re absolutely huge fans! Five stars across the board. Something that we have zero regrets about. I would highly encourage it.

If you’re a big contrast person like I am, it’s very convenient to have in your house. I don’t have to stay at the stadium to get this kind of treatment. I use this throughout the entire season to help recover my body. It’s done wonders for me.

I’ve owned the Aquavoss 2 for 5 months now. I’ve always wanted a cold plunge, but couldn’t justify spending $5-10K for a nice one. That said I had always planned to get a hot tub for our home. When I discovered the Aquavoss 2, it was a lightbulb moment: I could have both for the price less than a conventional hot tub! The reality is that a 4 seater hot tub is sufficient for my family 99% of the time. I have used the cold plunge almost daily since purchase, and in my view the single greatest benefit of this setup is that it’s really easy to convince yourself to take the (cold) plunge when you’re sitting there baking at 104’ on the other side. It has become automatic for me, whereas if all I had was a standalone cold plunge, I’m sure I would have many days where I b**** out. The consistency alone is worth its weight in gold. 10/10, I couldn’t recommend highly enough, one of the best investments I’ve ever made in our health and longevity.

I was searching for both a hot tub and a cold plunge and then I saw a couple of these combo units out there. There’s one that’s heavily marketed and easy to find. This one, less so. Having somebody in the United States that you can speak to on the phone - not get stuck behind waiting lines and chats and websites and overseas customer service - is everything when you’re making a purchase of this magnitude. I hadn’t experienced customer service or communication at the level of Aquavoss.

If you’re questioning buying something like this, don’t buy two different units, don’t buy something cheaper, don’t look for the other option. Go for this one, it’s absolutely worth every penny. It’s really one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. Every morning I get out here, get a little work out in, get in the cold plunge, and I jump into the hot tub right next door. It’s the greatest feeling in the world.

We love the design and how it blends with our landscape and the area. We thought the design was super clean and we particularly like how simple and functional the design of the hot tub was overall.

We really love having a hot tub and cold plunge available. Both my wife and I are pretty avid amateur runners. Having a great recovery setup is super important to us - we found it super effective for our recovery and has been an incredible addition to our home.

This is my favorite time of day to cold plunge, followed by a relaxing warm up on the hot side. Daily exercise is easier knowing the recovery process will be enhanced because of my aquavoss model 2. I wish I had purchased it sooner.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the temperature range of the Model 2?

The temperature reaches up to 104°F on the hot side and down to 39°F on the cold side. The Model 2 features separate controls for setting the temperatures of the hot tub and cold plunge. This allows you to customize the experience to match your preferences and comfort level.

What are the dimensions of the Model 2?

The Model 2 has exterior dimensions of 84” L x 84” W x 33” H. The interior dimensions of the hot tub tank are 71″ x 46″ and the interior cold plunge tank dimensions are 63″ x 29″.

Are there any spacing requirements for the Model 2?

Yes, there are two vents that are located on the cold plunge side of the Model 2. These two vents need 5 feet of unobstructed open air clearance (i.e. this corner cannot be against any walls).

Does the Model 2 come with a cover?

The Model 2 is shipped with a heavy duty, marine-grade vinyl, high density foam cover (color is black). The custom designed cover folds at the barrier wall between the cold plunge and the hot tub. The cover has 4-inches of insulation at the middle, and it tapers down to 2.75-inches of insulation towards the sides. This sloped design prevents rainfall from pooling on the cover. The cover has locking straps for safety as well to secure the cover in windy climates. Want to learn more about the cover? Here is a detailed article and video about the cover: The Cover for the Model 2.

How many people can fit in the Model 2?

We designed the Model 2 so that we could maximize how many people can enjoy it at once. The hot tub can seat 4 people, and the cold plunge can fit 1-2 people at once. We have NFL lineman that love the Model 2 because of its spacious design.

Does the Model 2 have self-cleaning / filtration?

The Model 2 has separate filtration systems for the hot tub and the cold plunge. The hot tub has a paper pleated filter and Ozone technology. The cold plunge side has 2 filters (one metal mesh filter, and one paper filter) and Ozone technology as well. There is a common misconception in the spa/cold plunge industry that Ozone and filters entirely eliminates the need to add additional cleaning agents into the water. All cold plunges and spas also need sanitizer. On average, our customers add sanitizer to their spa on a weekly basis. We recommend Sirona Spa Products because it is a chlorine-free, bromine-free solution that is generally less abrasive on your skin.

What are the maintenance procedures for the Model 2?

Assuming residential and normal use, we recommend (summarized):

Weekly Basis: Add Sirona Simply Products (chlorine and bromine free) to the hot tub and cold plunge. Clean the metal mesh filter (takes ~1-2 minutes) on the cold plunge side. (The system is also compatible with chlorine or bromine if that is a preferred cleaning agent).

Quarterly Basis: Drain both the cold plunge and hot tub. Clean the acrylic shell and the cover. Clean or replace the paper filters on both the hot tub and cold plunge sides (note: the filters may need to be cleaned/replaced more or less frequently depending on usage). Add Sirona Simply Products to the spa upon start-up.

If you ever have questions regarding water maintenance, we strongly recommend calling the Sirona Spa Care support line (877-929-7945) as they have a world-class support team that can help answer any questions you have regarding proper water maintenance techniques.

How do you drain the Model 2?

The hot tub and the cold plunge have two separate drains. To access the drains, you will remove the magnetic access cabinet (where all of the technology is housed) and it will reveal two drain hoses. You will use these hoses to drain the Model 2. You can connect a garden hose to these drains so that you can direct the water where you need it. The frequency that these units need to be drained depends on usage, however in most residential cases the units should be drained and re-filled every 3 months.

What are the electrical requirements for the Model 2?

The hot tub side runs on 220v hard-wired connection and requires a 50amp breaker with GFCI (two hots, a neutral, and a ground). Here is an article and video that describes the electrical install process for the hot tub: https://aquavoss.com/how-to-connect-the-hot-tub-electrical-for-the-aquavoss-model-2/

The cold plunge side runs on a 110v grounded electrical connection. Here is a detailed article and video describing how to install the chiller: https://aquavoss.com/how-to-install-the-aquavoss-model-2-chiller/

What are your lead times?

Each color combination has a different lead time due to different demands. Some combinations are on backorder while others may be available to ship next business day. Please reach out to us if you have any questions regarding the lead time for any specific color.

How long does shipping take?

The units are shipped from our two different facilities in Los Angeles, CA and the shipping timeline for it to get to you varies across the country. Generally speaking, the shipping time takes 2-5 business days across the west coast, 4-7 business days for the mid-west and 6-12 business days for the east coast.

How is the unit packaged?

We ship nationwide and it is of our utmost importance to ensure that you receive your Model 2 without damage. As such, we package it very securely. It is enclosed in a palletized wooden crate. The unit is packaged in a vertical position (imagine the hot tub being on its side). The packaging size is ~ 90”H x 86”L and 35”W and it weighs ~975lbs.

What is curbside shipping and how do I move the Model 2?

For customers local to southern California, please reach out to us and we are happy to work with you alongside our local movers to help put the unit in place for you (assuming easy access).

If you are outside of southern California, don’t worry – we’re here to help you as well. We will ship the unit with a major freight carrier that is equipped to handle shipments of this size. You will receive a tracking email from us with all of the tracking information. The freight company will give you a call when it has arrived at the ‘final mile’ so that they can schedule a delivery appointment with you. They will then deliver the Model 2 and deliver it “curbside” – typically on your front driveway. In terms of next steps, we recommend hiring a local hot tub mover to place it in your backyard for you. We recommend scheduling the mover the day after the unit arrives so that there aren’t any scheduling hiccups.

Here is a detailed video and article if you want to learn more about the moving process and how to find the right mover:

https://aquavoss.com/how-to-move-the-aquavoss-model-2-hot-tub-and-cold-plunge/

If you have any questions regarding this process, please do not hesitate to reach out to us and we will be happy to help.

Does the Model 2 have lights?

Yes! The Model 2 features LED lights along the interior perimeter of both the hot tub and the cold plunge side. These lights change colors as well.

Can the Model 2 be used in areas with extreme heat?

Yes, we have customers in the hottest climates across the US (e.g. Arizona desert with temps above 110F) that use both our Model 1 and Model 2 cold plunges without a problem (thanks to our chiller!).

There are two reasons our cold plunges do well in locations with extreme heat:

  • Chiller: We use a chiller that is ‘an absolute workhorse’. Our proprietary Aquavoss chiller is 1HP (horsepower) and utilizes a Panasonic compressor.
  • Insulation: Insulation is important because we want the cold plunge to maintain its temperature once the chiller has worked to bring the temperature down. When the water reaches your set temperature, our proprietary technology signals the chiller to enter ‘sleep mode’. There is about 2-3 inches of spray foam insulation on the underside of the acrylic shell on the cold plunge side (and hot tub side) that will ensure that the tank maintains its temperature with little assistance from the chiller. The chiller has a thermometer and when it reads that the temperature has increased above your set temp, it will enter ‘Active’ mode and bring the water back to your set temp. Not only does this help with energy efficiency, but it it is imperative in locations with extreme heat so that we preserve the chiller (our favorite workhorse!).
Can I put my Model 2 below ground?

There are two vents that are located on the cold plunge side of the unit. These vents are essential for providing proper airflow to the cold plunge chiller. These vents need to have at least 5 feet of unobstructed open air access. As such, the Model 2 cannot be placed underground.

What are the different payment options?

We accept payment through credit card, debit card, ACH, wire transfer. We also have financing opportunities through Affirm.

Can I finance an Aquavoss product?

Yes, we have financing options available through Affirm, a third-party financing company. Payment terms and interest rates vary person to person based on a number of different factors. Typically, there are three options (6 months, 24 months, and 36 months.) To finance your purchase (or see your rates), proceed to the checkout page and select Affirm as your payment method. You will be directed to the Affirm website to answer a few questions. They will then provide you with your financing options. To move forward, you will finalize the purchase on the Affirm website.

What is the warranty for Aquavoss products?

We have a 1-year warranty including parts and labor. We have our dedicated support team ready to resolve any potential problems that you may encounter. Please send us an email or give us a call at 310-943-7529 if you need any support.
